The business is mainly aimed at small to medium projects where big machinery is not suitable or justified where trees and other vegetation are needed to be removed. We ensure to leave the site tidy and often leave the clients with some firewood to offset the cost. We listen carefully to our clients' preferences and provide guidance to a practical outcome.

With a history in farming and solid years of working in hard toil industries, we are skilled to take on many associated tasks and aspects with tree work, such as taking down and re-erecting fences and implementing farm health & safety plans. Why Topknot?

Topknot is passionate about building a business to meet peoples needs with all things trees and other vegetation.

How do estimates work?

Some jobs are very hard to quote, so are better charged out on an hourly rate. Clients will only pay for the machine or equipment in use unless there will be a need for a third-party hire.

Is there a consultation fee?

We offer free quotes.

Can clients add additional manpower for the job?

Yes, customers are welcome to be involved in the work themselves. We can also seek part-time workers when needed.

How much will it cost?

Visiting the job is preferred to quote/estimate, but sometimes photos may help as a guide to estimate cost. We do have hourly charge out rates sometimes preferred.

How long will I have to wait to get my job done?

Normally if the customer is all ready to go, we can have the work started within two weeks. If we have a very big job on, we may be able to fit some smaller ones in along the way.
